Wanna know what’s a giant kick in the nuts? My eyesight is just bad enough that I can’t see people across the bar (or read street signs, or a blackboard) without contacts on, but not bad enough that I qualify for LASIK. Yep. You have to have sufficiently shitty eyesight to be able to get LASIK. FML.
Two things. Luxury is relative. To a homeless person luxury is having a cardboard box that isn’t leaking on a rainy day.
Second, I live in a luxury apartment and I love it. But I actually have a fireplace, concierge desk, doorman, and free dog-walking services when I’m at work.
If there’s one thing you should’ve learned dating a younger girl is that 4-5 years isn’t a significant difference in age. I dated a 18 year-old when I was 27. That was a struggle. Wanna know what’s hard? Trying to think of things to do as a couple at places where they don’t card when you’ve been of age for the better part of a decade. Oof.
I agree that this shouldn’t happen, but your comment relating to this happening more often in areas that aren’t “as nice” as other areas, well no shit. I wouldn’t walk alone at night in some areas and I’m a 200lbs fit guy. It’s sad that there’s this heightened issue with women, but at the same time, maybe don’t walk in those areas.
Actually created an account just to say this. Move out, and find roommates who are actually somewhat-functioning members of society instead of the men-children you live with.
Last I talked to my optometrist 3-4 years ago, he said it needed it to be at least -3.0

Having friends visit is literally the worst – being the visitor is always the much better option.
I can’t decide who are worse, vegans or crossfitters.

Meh, she was really hot (I definitely outkicked my coverage), I was working 80+ hours/week, and I knew it wasn’t going anywhere.

Also sounds like the kind of person who would challenge a $100+ bar tab even though she was black out drunk.

I bet your boyfriend told all his friends about that one time he rammed you so hard you passed out. Good on him.
