What we know about Jim Harbaugh: he likes football, he has psychopathic tendencies, and the man loves a good source of protein. I mean, we’re talking about a guy who has been photographed drinking milk at a steakhouse. People look at you funny if you even joke about drinking a glass of milk in the comfort of your own home, so to do it as a public figure with a giant piece of meat in front of you is downright shameless.

And now he’s taken his love for steak and all things #gains to a whole new level – he worked a high school football game because they promised him a tri-tip steak sandwich at halftime. Per The New York Daily News:

So when the Michigan football coach was asked Monday why he recently helped the chain gang during a Bay Area high school football game, his answer shouldn’t have come as a surprise.

“They needed a guy. I was promised a tri-tip steak sandwich at halftime, that was all I needed to hear,” Harbaugh told reporters.

I really can’t find any flaws in his argument, so I guess we’ll just have to go with it. There’s even video.

Honestly, as someone who doesn’t eat nearly as much steak as I probably want to, this doesn’t seem like that bad of a deal. .
