For as long as I can remember, I’ve been intrigued by space. Does space ever end? Well, I’m under the impression that space is sort of like “The Truman Show.” Like there’s a wall somewhere and space just ends. Then, you can walk up a staircase and meet Ed Harris. Is there intelligent life out there that we don’t know about? Probably. I’ve watched too much Neil Degrasse Tyson to believe otherwise. Will I ever get to go to the moon? Not unless I become a billionaire.
These are all incredibly complex questions that I’ll probably go to the grave never knowing. But astronomers are saying they’ve picked up a signal coming from a star called “HD 164595,” located 94 light-years away from the Earth. Per Douglas Vakoch, president of METI International (a research institution specializing in communication with extraterrestrials) who appeared on CNN this morning:
The signal from HD 164595 is intriguing, because it comes from the vicinity of a sun-like star, and if it’s artificial, its strength is great enough that it was clearly made by a civilization with capabilities beyond those of humankind.
So a couple things here. OF COURSE the guy who studies extraterrestrials for a living is going to say that this is clearly a sign of intelligent life existing. He wants his fifteen minutes of fame just like anyone else. But for some reason, I believe this guy.
That beard. The double-breasted jacket. If there’s one thing Doug Vakoch knows, it’s aliens.
If we go by M. Night Shymalan logic, this is one of two kinds of intelligent life. One – the beings are friendly. They’re trying to learn from our culture to better life on their own planet by studying how we live. Or two – they’re hostile. They’ve ran out of resources on their own planet and they’re looking to wipe out our species and harvest Earth. Me personally? I automatically assume all aliens are hostile. HD 164595 is much larger than Earth according to this report, and if push comes to shove these guys are going to come for our jugular. And I highly doubt water is going to kill them. Guys, I hate to break it to you but the aliens are already here, they’ve been here for thousands of years. Many species have assimilated into our cultures, some live under ground in advanced tunnel networks where the entrances are temporary holographic openings. These openings are government protected in remote areas across the US and the world. The Ex Canadian Prime Minister broke the news wide open in a public forum speech. The military/government provides asylum for some of the alien species and in return, they help us with technological advancements in weaponry, energy, and health. Many of the species are humanoid and friendly, they want to assist us as a race so that we can prosper and not destroy such mineral/resource rich planet. However, some of the species are hostel and want to use us as slaves to extract the resources they need for their energy sources (I.e. Gold in fusion reaction) they too are in dealings with the government and the military, dthese species come from above and have a colony on the dark side of the moon where mining operations for Helium 3 are on going (a duffel bag sized amount of Helium 3 can power an entire city for a decade with no emissions) this is why there was such a push in earlier decades for countries to ramp up their space programs. If you really think about it, this starts to make more sense then the lives we’ve been told to live through programmed conditioning. If I am killed, it was probably by the hand of the Clinton’s along with the 49+ other people in recent years who have exposed their crimes and shady dealings.
