I just got notice I’m getting transferred to Tulsa. PGP.
I work for a Fortune 500 Company. I'm a 30 year old with a wife that definitely settled, no kids, and a dad body with no intention of changing it. When I'm not working 60 hours a week, I'm grilling, traveling, participating in some activity involving firearms, or slowly turning into my father. You can find me somewhere in Texas, normally with-in sight of the booze.
Think of it as Austin lite, but republican
Quit
At least it’s cheap???

I hear they have great shark videos in Tulsa
I know a few people who live in Tulsa and it’s surprisingly not terrible. Or so they say.
Tulsa really isn’t that bad. The Blue Dome District is pretty fun. Plenty of minor league options
Dude, you’re only a short 6-hour drive from mediocre Southern markets now. Congrats!
Just spent the last six months there, surprisingly good food, below average everything else. Also tornadoes
I lived in Tulsa for 6 months after college for my first job. It was pretty great. Then they transferred me to OKC. It’s pretty not great. I miss Tulsa.
Lived on the far opposite and completely different side (landscape wise and entertainment wise) of the state but I would say Tulsa seems like a cool place from the one time I visited. At least you can gamble and maybe (not) hit the jackpot at the casinos.
