Getting promoted to salary but making less than hourly. PGP.
3 years out and living that salaried life. Show up late, get more done in 6 hours than baby boomers do in 10, and leave early.
This guy gets it.
Salary blows. I would make 27ish an hour if I worked 40 hours as an hourly employee. Instead, I work 45-50, so it really equals out to 21ish an hour.
Salary is the best. I’d gladly take less pay to not have to bother with clocking in/out.
Until your boss says “hey, I need you to go to this extra fiction” or “I’m gonna need you to put in some extra hours.” Teacher being on a salary blows.
Fiction = function… Goddamn autocorrect and my frantic desire to hit send
I see we have a bunch of non-salary post grads here.
The trade off is being guaranteed a certain amount of money. But in that guarantee, you are expected to do a little more.
