As if not winning a World Series since 1908 isn’t embarrassing enough, the catch of the Cubs season just came from none other than a dad casually hanging onto his baby rather than someone on their payroll.

7-month-old Isaac, seemingly unfazed by his dad’s relaxed attitude toward his well-being, dangled from dad Keith’s arms as he snatched the ball right out from Adrian Gonzalez’s glove.

Between last week’s Blackhawks Stanley Cup victory, Father’s Day, and tonight’s legendary catch, you could say this Cubs fan is having himself a killer summer thus far.

Did they end up calling fan interference on the catch? Yeah, but he’ll be walking out of Wrigley with a smile on his face as opposed to another storied fan who cost the Cubs an NLCS game in 2003 while interfering with a ball in foul territory. We’re looking at you, Bartman.

This dude has first row seats at Wrigley, made a sweet one-handed grab, will be immortalized in internet glory, proudly rocks the dad bod, and has a gorgeous wife. I’d say he’s winning at life. #dadgoals #PGPM

The commentary was stupid at the end. “Fans were booing and we’re not entirely sure why.” Of course they were booing. It’s a home game and you called their guy out.

Judging by the level of butthurt over the most athletic feat I’ve seen from a dadbod since Dufner won a major, I’m assuming that was the Dodgers broadcast

I’m a Dodger fan from LA, but that catch deserves nothing but the utmost praise. Greinke was on the mound with two outs, two strikes and nobody on base, so the braodcaster had no reason to go apeshit like that. Vin Scully would have stood up and cheered.
