I’m going to try to be as vague as possible for obvious reasons.
There were other factors that had put her on thin ice previous to the project we were on. I was helping her get her assignments done for the project since I’d finished early, so I took on some of her work and when I sent in my final report, included a note stating that the incomplete work wasn’t originally mine, and I’d only taken it on the day before the deadline, just to cover my own ass. Came to work Monday morning and saw an email from my boss asking whose work it was originally, so I told her and next thing I know, workwife’s office was cleaned out.
Good luck finding another work wife in that office..
