If you’ve ever wondered what the absolute pinnacle of Dadness was, then look no further than soon-to-be dad of all dads, Mike Capko. Mike not only pulled a top-tier Total Dad Move by attending a Phillies game with his seven-month-old son strapped safely to his dad-chest, but he was also able to snag a foul ball, barehanded.
Hell yeah, Mike. As if catching a baseball with a human strapped to his body wasn’t enough, Mike then proceeds to hit the entire crowd with that modified dad-flex and transition right into a Tiger-esque fist pump circa 2005.
Somewhere, the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels is smiling. .
As a Phillies fan I’m sad to say this will be the highlight of our season.
Can he hit? At this point, I don’t see why he can’t make the active roster. Sign him and the kid if that’s what it takes.
What is it with Citizens Bank Park and great dad stories? Few years back you had the guy who caught the home run, gave it to his daughter, only for her to immediately throw it back on to the field.
That was a foul ball but awesome video.
I’ve been attending dollar dog nights and games stuffing myself with beers and ballpark food in order to perfect my Dad Bod. Only the greatest will join these legends in the DadBod HOF.
Weird. Every time I brought my baby to the ball game she ended up crying throughout and we left before the 5th inning. Damnit
Return it and get the new model
Might have a baby just so I can take it to the game in a chest harness
