When I receive an email that my supervisor is CC’d on, I reply to it without including my supervisor on it. The sender of the original email proceeds to CC my supervisor again when they respond to me. PGP.

Email etiquette: reply all if it’s addressed to you and there are multiple recipients on it. Your supervisor probably thinks you’re up to some sketchy shit since you’re excluding him.
