If your Westworld obsession mirrors mine, you’re not alone. Around 11.7 million of us tune in every Sunday at 9 p.m. EST to figure out who’s a robot and who’s, well, still probably a robot that Jonathan Nolan just hasn’t revealed to us yet. In case you were wondering, that’s more viewers than the first season of Game of Thrones drew in, making Westworld HBO’s hottest new hit. The good news for us is that HBO caught onto this and has officially renewed Westworld for season 2. The bad news? Don’t expect it until sometime in 2018.
With only 3 episodes left in season 1, this comes as a pretty big blow for the fans; however, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, execs on the show were able to let us know that the delay is because of the complexity of the show, so we’re sure to have as good of an experience next season as we’ve had with this one. Season 2 will also have 10 episodes, and the president of programming at HBO has assured us that they’ll be “exciting, mysterious, and fun,” so get ready to have a million more questions that may or may not ever be answered. For now, just enjoy the final 3 episodes of season 1 while it lasts, and sharpen your Reddit skills, because you now officially have over a year to come up with the best conspiracy theories your mind is capable of..

Looks like we won’t be getting any answers til 2018. Talk about blue balls.
I’d rather wait and have the show be great rather than have it rushed and be trash.
I was hoping it’d only be 1 season just so it’s a complete story that isn’t drawn out 8 years.
At the pace it’s going, there are way too many open ends for it to be wrapped up in three episodes.
