Literally about to be in the same situation, except I didn’t even get to say goodbye. I was planning on getting a new car in the spring as I’ve been driving the same ‘03 Mustang convertible since I was 16 and it was at a point where it was causing me more trouble than it was worth. Then, BAM, girl sideswipes me on the interstate and my car is totaled to the point where it had to be towed away. So I didn’t even get that one last drive. So sad.
These might have been a thing in high school 10 (give or take) years ago, but I don’t know a single one of my friends who would even think about having one of these today..
Agree with majority of others about reducing straw use and going for a healthier lifestyle as a couple.
For anniversary/babymoon, definitely recommend Charleston or Wilmington for a good beach town. Go to Charlotte if you want an exciting city – tons of great food and breweries (maybe wifey would be kind enough to DD?), BB&T Ballpark in the middle of the city if you want to catch a baseball game with a view, Carowinds and US National Whitewater Center not too far, and then Discovery Place, Mint Museum, and Nascar Hall of Fame (if you’re into that?) for museums.
Makeout girl, you should leave your boyfriend since you technically cheated on him and don’t sound like you’re serious about the relationship. Also, do not try to get back with the other guy because, if he was actually interested, he wouldn’t have been THAT busy.
