I had a similar epiphany recently. I went back to my college town and got hammered with all of my friends, woke up the next day and realized that was not me anymore. I used to live for the nights where I could rip shots of fireball and progressively lower my standards until somebody went home with me. Now that sounds terrible. I realized the girl who was my “fallback” throughout college was somebody I really cared about and I had a lot of making up to do. In the words of the great Blink 182, “I guess this is growing up.”

2. We took a break because I was an idiot who wasn’t sure who I was or what I wanted. Then again, who does at 21?
3. I’m not trying to win her back as we are now dating and have been for a good while.
4. It’s working out wonderfully and we have both fully moved on from our past.

Thanks for the “news flashes” though.
