I’ll defend soccer, as a whole, as it will forever be my favorite sport to play. That being said, I just can’t defend the guys that represent it at the highest level… the flopping, the whining, it’s all just getting ridiculous
Went to a restaurant in Philly a few months back and found out Food Paradise was filming there that night. Turns out I’m gonna be on an episode in January and I already know I won’t stack up to Dave’s performance
Can confirm 1000%. Tons of people from college ended up in NYC and became so self-righteous about their jobs/city. Philly grew on me largely because of the friends I’ve made here and their more carefree attitudes
Everyone’s complaining about thrones being “predictable”, but maybe that’s because there is more discussion/theorizing about GoT in a very public manner than any previous show in the history of television. I don’t think this stuff would be predictable if I didn’t listen to a twice-weekly podcast and hear about theories at the water cooler all week between episodes

Agree (almost)entirely. Seen a few parties that were made simply by having friends who moved far away show up and surprise the birthday celebrant. Otherwise they’re typically unnecessary

Had a friend get his venmo account frozen from charging a colleague for Persian food they had for lunch one workday. Guess Persians are uniformly frowned upon
I feel like it’s dangerous to chastise brunch on this website but I’m with you. I miss New Jersey diners where I’d get 2 eggs, sausage, home fries, and toast for like $6. I’d rather feast for $10-15 then go day drink and avoid the sugary mimosa hangover
It sounds so douchey as I type this, but there’s something so serene and satisfying about a glass of whiskey and the static you only get from a record player. Looks like I’m taking a page out of Duda’s book and staying in tonight
Grew up going to Bethany and the highlight of those childhood trips would be playing in the arcade waiting for our Grotto’s pizzas to come out of the oven… that being said, no chance. Classic NY/NJ pizza blows Grott’s out of the water
