When I went to Europe I didn’t visit Paris or Barcelona so I cannot talk on those cities. Amsterdam tho… there aren’t any rules. You’ll most likely feel that Amsterdam will be the closest European city to America that you’re visiting. No language barrier in Amsterdam, also didn’t have 1 glass of wine when I was there, only drank Heineken, it was dirt cheap there. You should stop by the Rijks museum, place is pretty cool.
