If you live in the city it can definitely suck, but Hoboken is pretty nice and is a growing area with young professionals. You don’t have to work/live in Manhattan, that would wear out anyone. I grew up in Manhattan/NJ area and personally I cannot wait to go back. I think it overall is a cultural thing because a lot of people like myself love it.
