I should note this wasn’t based solely on Atlanta. Austin and Dallas were pretty bad as well, with WAY less precipitation. Austin had 150+ accidents over some icy rain that never even froze the roads.
My vote’s for Deadwood. Acting, writing (not just the profanity alone, but the astounding eloquence with which they use words like cocksucker is incredible), set design, costume design, the story lines. That more than any other period piece made me feel like I was literally watching the past.
