Got El Tiempo takeout on Sunday. Just polished off the leftover guac that definitely was NOT squeezed out of the peel. Enjoy the free meal tonight, friend.
Piggybacking the top comment here but want to let everyone know AMC is showing a series called The Son. It’s about a family in South Texas from 1850 – Present and is based off a phenomenal book by the same title. Can’t recommend enough.
Duda, I disagree with about 99% of the stuff that comes out of your mouth (keyboard?) but I honestly hope you get some free beer out of this. Case a month shouldn’t be too much to ask.
As a non-native, very well said. When we go visit my family, my wife, who is 6th generation Texan, finds it strange people don’t have a (insert name of state I grew up in) flag flying in their yard.
Everyone has their methods but we crate trained combined with putting a bell by the door so he could tell us when he wanted to go out. He was sleeping through the night in no time and quit going in the house after a month or two. And keep those Yeezys safe, Will.
Puppies are great because if you don’t want to do something there’s always the “Sorry, can’t go. Need to go take the dog for a walk” excuse. They also suck sometimes because if you want to do something you really do have to go home to feed the dog and talk him for a walk.
I’ve wanted to kick my own ass while waiting in line for Red Door more times than I care to admit. Always convinced myself I was only there for a sociological experiment.
I had a fraternity brother in college who studied abroad in Australia. He brought some Uggs back, tried to make it a thing for a while, we had an intervention at one of the chapter meetings, he ended up thanking us a few weeks later. Terrible look all around.
A couple of days ago.

You’re better than click bait, David. And a better Texan than this.
I had to stop reading. This makes Duda look like an ok guy.
You didn’t even mention the tunes pumping through the store. HEB’s playlist is on point.
If this doesn’t get you a lady ‘sup? I don’t know what will.
Can I get a haiku about your parents’ shitty internet service / a trip to the video rental store? Thanks.
Baked chicken, spinach, sweet potahhhhto. Starting this week off right.
You got downvoted for drunk driving, not staying in the rest of the night.

What’s the vibe at the Marquis and Volcano these days? Asking because I’m old and married but really like LITs.
Oh, YouKnow, eatin’ and drinkin’ primarily.
If you think Kush is rocking a Vineyard Blazer you’re nowhere near as bougie as I’ve thought all this time.
Oh shit…..
You just blew my mind, Mr. 19th Hole. I knew I always liked you for a reason.
