Yeah, honestly, fuck that guy. Don’t ever walk into a relationship trying to change someone. Agree 900% with Chev-er-ay, he sounds like a controlling narcissist.
5’8″ guy with the tall girl: I’m 5’10” and a half, and it took me a long, long time to be secure with my height, so I can understand how, roles reversed, you may be having some insecurities. Don’t let that get in the way of your relationship. Height, no matter how tall or short, is beautiful, and if you’ve got a tall drink of water on your arm, then show her off like the stunner she is. She clearly doesn’t care if she’s already dating you. Height isn’t one of those things you can control, so there’s no use in being insecure about it. Plenty of tall women date men shorter than them – I have!
I have found that the more time I spend inside at the office, the more I desperately want to be outside. It’s hotter than Satan’s backyard right now, so that time is limited to the morning/evening, but when the weather is good, you can bet I’m trying to go outside.
Roommate went to our law school’s law prom with a date, and I went out with some friends downtown instead. Missed several calls from the roomie, who had forgotten her key. Her date decided to punch in our back window so they could get into the apartment. Needless to say I was less than pleased when I got home.
I definitely appreciate the input, but I’ve had a pretty significant knee surgery that puts me in the non-impact exercise category. I don’t know if Crossfit is impact or not, but I’ve also heard of a lottt of injuries attributed to it.
I accidentally Meh’d that, I meant to upvote it, someone help her out.
Yeah, I’m not saying like pound back an entire bushel of celery or something, but I thought that five small meals a day was supposed to be a thing, or three smalls meals and snacks.
I think the waking up a little earlier or doing it when I get home may have to be the go-to’s, unless I can sneak something in at lunch. I’m awful about meal prep, but I probably need to learn how.
I spend anywhere from 2 1/2 – 3 hours a day in the car. I live in a rural area, and job availability for my work experience was only available in a city a bit away. There’s a planet fitness close by, but I’m worried about the sweating thing.
Do you have a specific diet plan you follow/exercise regime you recommend? Ya girl leaves the house at 6:30 AM to be at work by 8:00 AM and doesn’t get home until 7:30 PM. I hit my rock bottom this week, and I desperately need tips on how to fit in a workout/lose weight as a desk jockey.
If someone came up to you in real life and just looked at you and said, “Hey,” you’d be extremely weirded out. Flirting gives you the opportunity to be a little goofy upfront. In-person interactions are always going to be more personable (redundant, I know), but that’s why you should take the opportunity to showcase your silly side on dating apps.
I figured the basic girl “I Need Vitamin Sea” icon would give it away, but for clarity, I’m a girl.

I was going for the more polite option, but either works. I’m just waiting for a hobbit to run into my backyard and throw a ring in it.

That’s when I’d consider getting a new roommate, too much crazy.
The “Pornhub Tinder Date” title vs. the actual story was a letdown.

That’s brilliant. I’ll give it a go.
What about dark chocolate or apples with peanut butter or carrots or something? I’m panicking, literally no snacks??

No snacks?? Like, at all?? I love snacks 🙁
I honestly just choked on my lunch reading that. That’s hilarious.
I need to get one of those noodle making things. Thank you!

Use pots!
