Pit Bulls should be on this list. It’s too bad they get such a bad wrap. It really is all about the owner (which I feel applies to any type of dog). There is not a more loving and protective dog out there than a pit bull. If raised right. Great hunters too.
While I do have a sense of pride in my own accomplishments and feeling able to provide for my family, at the same time, I would be the stay at home dad of the year if i was lucky enough to have a partner well established/high up in her company. Sign me up!
Look into getting them registered as an ESA animal. My pit just turned 4 and I’ve taken him to every apartment with me. Not only do they have to make exceptions on the breed restrictions, they also can’t legally charge you a deposit or a monthly fee for them. Fantastic loophole I figured out that has allowed me to take my buddy everywhere with me, for free. I can even legally take him on a plane with me in the cabin.
Hey Kyle and Nevergrad, I think it’s awesome you have each other’s shoulder to cry on. Make sure y’all take a couple days off of work too, I know it’s impossible to grieve reality if you have to actually work.
