I went to Oktoberfest last year, I got so drunk I lost my friends and the subway. Only thing that saved me was having a card from the hotel to give to the taxi cab driver.
I don’t know how people go to bars so frequently and justify paying the extra cost of a beer or mixed drink as opposed to just buying a pack of beer or a bottle at a store. There are many circumstances when going to a bar makes sense, but it doesn’t make sense to me when a group of friends will meet up at a bar instead of just going to someone’s house.
