The themes underneath the plot are being developed at a pace that is best seen with a decent break in between each episode, gives you time to go over and try to understand the meta before it gets changed a week later. Binging would either make it more confusing or tell a completely different meta
Both have legs to stand on as good content, but the idea of a weekly column/list giving ideas for your panic room was a good one. Maybe use your run down as an example, but going through the best rom coms, candles, drinks etc would be a great way to deliver
