    I’ve been doing it for 8 months down 110 lbs. Burning more calories than you ingest is #1 for losing weight, but avoiding sugars/carbs is just healthy. Three of the leading causes of death are all caused or aided by sugars/carbs. Heart disease, cancer, and diabetes.
