I’ve gotten the impression they’re not hard with that problem. Then again, I grew up with springers and everyone I hunt with runs setters so anything is an improvement over those breeds in the shedding category.
I’m on the tail end of my industry’s busy season so i’ll probably start writing again after Labor Day and life slows down. Have a lot of accumulated material to work with though.
big miss on my part, good call. Crate train them right and they whine until you put them to bed when they’re tired at night, it’s amazing.

Honestly I think a GSP is going to be my next dog. I’ve hunted behind a lot of dogs and GSP’s are always the most consistently great gun dogs.
