Obviously late to the party, but thanks for posting this, Quinn! I didn’t participate (a mix of personal reasons and laziness) but I’m definitely going to look into the organizations you listed. And positive/negative comments aside, the only way to make a change is to shine a light on the issue. So at least we are talking about it!
Turning off the comments is like unfriending someone for having an opposing opinion. I rarely comment but I read the majority of them and can say I’ve personally only felt uncomfortable once. So what did I do? Gave them a down vote and moved on.
Out of town bachelorette party for my old college roommate. Everyone was instructed to bring 2 bottles of their choice so it should make for a good time.
I crowd surfed for the first time at one of their shows too! Saw them last year on their tour with Yellowcard and had an internal struggle about going for it again the entire time
Got my Brittany Spaniel from the shelter for $50. You just have to look at the websites beforehand so you don’t end up walking around with a knot in your stomach and Sarah McLachlan playing in your head
Eh I’ll take my lazy and tiny pool of people at my job over the tinder date that gets queasy at the mention of an IV. Plus they understand what 12 hour shifts are like and have a dark sense of humor.
