Needed this today. I coach a middle school aged soccer team and I field nearly 100 emails a week from snarky, know-everything-about-a-sport-I-never played parents. I love the sport and I love coaching but some parents make me want to shoot pk’s at my computer.
Thank you for these enlightening posts. This is how I have been keeping up with the Bachlorette. Last night I watched 15 minutes of the show, couldn’t believe it was real life, called my mother and her first words were, “I think I’m gonna submit you as the next Bachlorette”. I wondered what I had done to deserve these spiteful words… questioned every bit of sass I had ever thrown my beloved mother. Regretted it all.
