Felt the need to buy rounds of tequila shots at least 5 different times Friday night. My friend has a video of me dropping it waaay too low for a basic white girl who almost exclusively listens to country music.
Catholics really know how to throw a party outside of mass. My friend’s church would host a pregame and shuttle people to the St. Paddy’s parade in downtown Cleveland.
I feel ya, DJ. That’s one of the reasons I really like attending my Catholic mass. I enjoy the traditional, formal atmosphere of church. On a sort of related note, I feel awkward attending modern Catholic Churches that have a full band belting out really unnecessarily upbeat songs, oftentimes where people are clapping. I like singing the slower, older songs.
I went grocery shopping when I got back from a music festival and everyone around me in the aisles was drinking beer from the in-store bar. I nearly threw up. Let me walk around the store hungover in peace, please.
ESPECIALLY telling your brother. My brother is 100% the last person I would tell something like that too. He would ensure everyone I’ve ever met knows and I would hear about it til the day I die. I feel so bad for her lol
Honestly, no valid reason?? This girl was one of my closest friends in college and she could pound beers better than most. But now she doesn’t drink so I guess none of us drink?
I’m friends with my college ex. We just weren’t compatible and we realized that during the relationship. Sure, the break up was tough. But since then, we’ve actually built a great friendship. Last year I visited him in DC and we spent a long weekend traveling, because we were both in a rut (unrelated to each other) and needed a fun trip to cheer us up. Nothing happened between us on the trip, because there’s no spark. We’ve dated other people since our break up and have talked about them with each other. So, it can happen. It’s rare, but it happens.
I’ve been playing in an indoor volleyball league for a year now exclusively on Mondays. It helps IMMENSELY getting through the work day knowing my favorite sport, some beer and wings are waiting for me when I walk out the door at 5.
Nah. If my husband walks down the aisle dressed like Harry or Lloyd, I’m doing my best to dress like Mary Swanson (Swim? Swammi? Slippy? Slappy? Swenson?)

Not entirely sure. I know she’s told me the name before but I don’t remember!

And no, she didn’t give it up due to alcoholism or a medical issue. She literally just stopped.

Dinner and a paint and sip…but without the sip….
Going to a non-alcoholic bachelorette party. Help.

100% with you. You can always fix a bad haircut. There’s no way in hell I’d ever go bald.
Will, I’m having a v shitty day and this made me feel better. tysm.

It was so painfully obvious they were both getting booted off but I love them so much IT STILL HURTS
The clubhouse literally has free solo cups and people still choose to be morons and ruin it for everyone.
Also someone broke glass in our pool so it’s shut down for a week. Can’t get a nice pre-wedding tan going because people are terrible.
Wine Fest tonight and a sorority sister’s wedding tomorrow. Going to a very hungover Sunday.

Own it, man. No reason to back out now.
