What is unfortunate is an intellectual that feels the need to belittle others. The assumption that success and humility/patience are mutually exclusive is ridiculous. Celebrity example- Warren Buffet. Real world example- the chairman of my company. He does $10B+ in revenue and drives a 2008 Audi. He wears Sperrys, not Prada. Most importantly, he is the first to admit a mistake and bring in a group to rectify the issues at hand. He owns $1B of real estate due to his patience, not due to exorbitance.
