You’re not going to like hearing this, but you’re kinda wrong.
The Friend Zone thing is a place that does exist, it’s just not what you think it is, and it is not nearly as common as people make it out to be. I’m not saying there aren’t guys who exist who think acting nice will get them sex, because those do exist. But YOU don’t get to say there aren’t girls who really do lead guys along with false hope, “maybe someday”, “wait until I’m ready” words.
Those girls absolutely do and have existed. It’s not some situation where they can’t bring themselves to be “mean” and tell a guy they have no chance, they actually are manipulating the guy on purpose because they like what their guy “friend” does for him. She doesn’t really care about being friends with him, but the benefits it comes with is too good to tell him to stop trying, he doesn’t have a chance.
Like I said, it’s not nearly as big an “issue” as you’d see online, and it’s not that the guys are just mechanically doing good deeds until she reveals her vagina, some women ARE manipulative enough to let these poor saps spend their money on them, drive them places, waste their time with false hope. For some reason, and maybe yes because they just want sex, they like this girl. They’re going to do what they know how to do to “win” this girl. It ain’t their fault they like her, and if she’s not saying “no, zero chance, try another girl” then he’s still thinking he has a chance…and he’ll keep doing what he knows how to, even if it’s wrong and never going to work.
