I empathize with you, I do. HOWEVER…I would have LOVED to cash my checks before we even left on our honeymoon, but couldn’t. Let me explain…I got married early October. We had many very generous guests who wrote us checks we were extremely grateful to receive. There was a catch though. for all the ones addressed to Mr. & Mrs. XYZ…I had to legally change my name before we could deposit them. I couldn’t even endorse them over to my husband until my name changed with social security AND I was in possession of a new license (to prove my new identity to the bank). So I know it’s annoying, but cut them a little slack…unless you addressed them to just the husband or to “Mr. OR Mrs.”. In that case, their bad.
I’m all about getting useful degrees, but I don’t entirely agree with this. I went to an engineering school and got an engineering degree AND a product design degree and I’m seriously underemployed. If you’re implying that I didn’t work hard enough in college, I’m a little offended.
I even did the internships and was all lined up for a job in the medical device industry…until the company I worked for lost 350 mil because of Obamacare.
So yes, I get your point about getting a hard-fought degree…but that doesn’t guarantee anything in this economy anymore either.

Miley makes me feel like a very classy woman.
