So you mean to tell me.. that in the 16 hours you’re awake doing whatever you’re doing, You can’t find 60 minutes to workout? You need to lay off the Netflix bro. I’m a law student with a part time job and internship and I always find time lift. Yeah. I’m judging you. Hard.
I am not sure if you are trolling or being serious. You yourself said how our parents had it in the 70s/80s yet now you endorse a system that supports employer greed and cuts many of the same opportunities our parents had. I’m sorry Winger, but I have to strongly and respectfully disagree with your ideas.
Overworked and Underpaid.. that’s the the story of so many millennials, myself included. I am really glad that someone said it because God forbid you say this to an “older person” and they give you a “you lazy piece of shit look”, when I’m in law school and working 2 jobs on the side and paying off undergrad debt. I refuse to let work overtake my happiness and free time. I refuse to be exploited by someone making 5 times my salary while putting in same/less work hours. They can go fuck themselves if they think I’m gonna be a cog in the machine. I’d rather work 40 hours a week and have time to hang out with friends. Because if life= 70hr work weeks, then I want NO part of that.
This was a very well written, relatable and funny column.
