I thought this was a site for rational, intelligent discourse. But, based on the comments made when the layoffs took place, I’ve decided that this is a site for people who got weaned too early.
Not sure why you are making Madison the Bad Guy. The podcasts simply don’t bring in enough revenue to justify the salary+benefits of Dillon/Dave/Dan. Will has the ability to provide significant written content (which the others can’t), and he’s really the voice/face/muse of PGP. Got to put your money where it makes a profit.
In these situations, people always say “Call a lawyer.” If you take legal action, be prepared for a very long and painful experience that will cost you significantly, monetarily, emotionally, and professionally. And that’s if you win. Unless you have been keeping a journal and documenting these instances, and have co-workers who will back you up, your chance of getting any recompense is slight. And since the perpetrator is the owner of the company, he isn’t going to be fired or demoted. Unfortunately, the best course of action is often to find a new job. That’s unfortunate, and it isn’t an answer that is popular among idealists, but it’s the hard truth.
PGP commenters who create a twitter account for their PGP “persona” have a screw loose. They seem to think they have some sort of cult status as well as some sort of “connection” to the Grandex staff. Totally delusional.
You need to get a grip. As does everyone who sent Dillon money. He isn’t hurting.
Communities of struggling 20-somethings don’t pay the bills.

I get WSJ delivered to my office, too, because it impresses the proletariat masses. I never actually read it.

Print is dead
That’s socialism, baby.

Then I’ll only charge $25.
No one watches television anymore.
How bout you give me 50 bucks and I’ll put together two fat chicks and three old guys who will lip sync and air guitar to the Mac’s greatest hits.
As long as you don’t put your fist through the wall when your team misses a field goal, you’re OK.
I created a Facebook account for my cat but deleted it when the cat had more friends than me.
No one watches television anymore.
Do you suffer from performance anxiety?
I don’t watch television.
I won’t be watching television.
