I’m a big fan of both chains. I love a double-double animal style with animal style fries, but you can’t get the flavor or variety of Whataburger at IN-N-Out.
If you don’t like Whataburger, you are ordering incorrectly. Next time, get a double meat, double cheese with bacon, grilled onions and grilled jalapenos (the peppers at In-n-out are disgusting on a burger, those are salad peppers). If you don’t think that is as good as any fast food burger you have had, immediately remove yourself from the conversation. I like onion rings over their fries, but both are good. Get a Whatburger junior like this if you don’t think you can finish it.
What puts Whataburger over the top is variety, though. The breakfast is fantastic. You can order any breakfast item “Ranchero Style, where they add picante and jalapenos to the eggs while cooking. The new Jalapeno Cheese biscuit is amazing with any breakfast sandwich. The pankakes are fresh and fluffy. You can get a grilled cheese. You can get your burger on texas toast with a fried egg on it. You can do just about anything you want.
Whataburger is the king of all fast food. I don’t think it is fair to compare this to Five Guys, etc. because those are casual dining, not fast food.
I disagree pretty strongly about the the stadium seats. The nicer parts of stadiums are often very stuffy and boring. I have the opportunity to sit in a friend or work acquaintance’s box at almost every game that I go to and I turn it down pretty often because i want to let loose in my own environment. Don’t get me wrong, it is awesome to do those things every once in a while but there is also place for sitting with the regular crowd, especially at a football game. You are also less likely to be surrounded by young, good looking women in the best parts of the stadium.
The author seems very immature.
