I don’t know what to say that hasn’t been said. I started listening in the spring of this year and right away connected with the content of Touching Base. It was like hearing my boyfriend or my brother bullshit with friends for an hour with the occasional MeUndies or ManOutfitters ad. At the time I had started listening my boyfriend was preparing to deploy to the Middle East and hearing the guys talk about their relationships and how they’d been involved relationships of varying distance made me not feel so alone. I ended up writing in to the Mailbag about my relationship and got solid advice that I appreciated. I haven’t been able to go back to my alma mater for a couple of years due to scheduling conflicts but I’m less inclined to do so without a set game plan thanks to the stories submitted by listeners. I’m hesitant to walk away but I like so many others no longer have a reason to stay. I love Will and his writing but for me that isn’t enough.
Likewise. Dated a guy casually for a year who was also 11 years older and we parted on good terms. I learned so much from our relationship, good and bad.
To dog guy: there are pros and cons to breeders vs. adopting. I have a Great Pyrenees and she’s hands down the cleverest dog I’ve ever owned. That being said, I’m glad I did some research on the breed before getting her. Breed specific rescues are a great resource as well. Many are full of dogs who’s personality did not mesh with their original living situation (livestock dog that would be better off as a pet or vis versa) but are still excellent dogs.
Just survived a weekend with people who could one day be my in laws and I relate to this so solidly. I kissed ass, told some white lies, and enjoyed not having to pay for a hotel.

I was added to a 17 person group chat for work and I just laid my head down in defeat.
Reserves or National Guard?

Too relatable. Kids rarely get the meaning of chill

Cleaning with a kid is kinda like brushing your teeth while eating Oreos, pointless.
Read this while dozing off to PawPatrol and keeping on eye on a toddler. Sooo relatable
Writing this as my Great Pyrenees is sounds asleep, hogging most of the bed.
Not sure who misses the social aspect of college more, me or her
Breakfast Tacos. They have eggs, bacon (or chorizo), salsa and cheese. Goes down great with orange juice.
