Agreed. Attorney here. Many of my classmates had minor in possession of alcohol or related charges. They just had to “explain” or give a story to the bar. They were irresponsible, have grown up, etc. it’s fine!
Work baby showers are the bane of my existence. At least when a guy doesn’t show up they just roll their eyes–when a woman doesn’t want to go, it’s a big deal.
