“You like that?” is that absolute wooooorst, it’s always said it a slightly skeazy way that instantly makes the girl not like that even if she was previously liking that
One of my friends from college does this, every time we plan a girls weekend trip to get everyone from all over the country together she asks if she can bring a friend from work or from high school or whatever, and it’s always awkward.
I agree, this actually sounds like a really fun birthday plan and I kinda want to copy it sometime in the next few years once all my friends aren’t poor grad students anymore. Sending out an itinerary, referring to champagne as champers, and calling out her friends in the group email is the irritating part
For someone who really understands the psyche of female millenials you are very mistaken about the cost of a curling iron. Depending on the quality it could be $75-$200, Sally is right not to have wanted to buy a replacement
You forgot to mention when they start a sentence with, “At MY firm…” when they have not actually done any work for the firm yet and have only actually been to the firm’s office once
You can’t leave out those stop motion Christmas movies from the 70s. When to watch: anytime during the Christmas season as long as its daytime, don’t want to risk nightmares of Burgermeister Meisterburger and Heat Miser.
To your first point, a lot of “this shit” she wrote about has nothing to do with dating. It’s about guys being creepy or uncomfortable in every day situations, not just on dates or when trying to hook up. It’s about co-workers that get too familiar or strangers in line at a coffee shop feeling like they are entitled to a conversation with the woman in front of them. So you do have to deal with this shit going forward, everyone does, we all have be respectful of the people around us every day.
But have you ever had a seared scallop so tender is melts in your mouth and you realize this is what heaven must be like
I just threw up in my mouth a little

Ahhh Finn McCools, had some great night I’ll never remember there back in college
I endorse this comment
I assume Viking is in reference to the line of high end kitchen appliances, not Viking from days of yore
The actual article was just as much of a trash take at the title implied
I think he’s taunting us by using that name

I think the groom to be is the best friend, not the bride to be

You need some festive sweets. Maybe those chocolate and peppermint covered pretzel thin things or some bakery section gingersnaps

Thank you! *royal wave*
Don’t get me wrong, smoking is gross, but please don’t compare it to sexual assault or domestic violence
