Instead of trying to pass legislation to prevent tax inversion from happening, shouldn’t we be asking ourselves why taxes are so high in the first place?
I work in the electric power industry and I’m all too aware of the money our government wastes on “clean renewables” in the form of subsidies, especially on wind. These subsidies have only served to destabilize market prices and escalate costs to consumers. Cutting wasteful spending like this would be much more beneficial than telling corporations to “pay up.”
Sure, I’ve been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I’m not. I just believe America is the best country and all other countries aren’t as good. That used to be called patriotism.
Getting used to working a shift rotation definitely isn’t easy, so I feel your pain there. I work twelve-hour long shifts (in an incredibly stressful job to begin with) but if given the option, I would never go back to my old 9 to 5 engineering job in a cubicle.
Pharm.D. babes are the way to go. The typical CVS pharmacist with a couple years’ experience rakes in over $100k and might even get to pick her hours if she’s lucky. Jackpot!
Sounds like the #MiataLife could put the joy of driving back in your life
