I disagree with this. I generally enjoy the pace of the city life and not relying on a car to get me places. I recently went for the first time and found that any difficulty in navigating the city and using the subway was all in my head (and easier thanks to Google Maps). The food was excellent. I didn’t have the same cuisine twice, didn’t have anything considered “American”, and didn’t spend more than maybe $20 per meal, which is about what I would spend where I live for lesser quality. While it is more expensive to get housing there than anywhere in the country (except SF), there is more free stuff to do there than any other major city I’ve visited. I loved visiting NYC and can’t wait to go back. I am even seriously considering living there for at least a few years.
I read the E. Coli warning last week as I was eating a salad I had made. So I threw it out and went to get Sonic instead. I think the E. Coli would’ve been better for me, health wise.
I’m all for people doing whatever floats their boat, but I would have to politely decline a request to eat a lady’s ass or their request to eat mine. Its a mental thing that I just can’t get over.
Its Chipotle and hot wings for me. If I eat either of those things then I’ll be spending a more than normal amount of time in the bathroom all the next day. Sometimes its worth it for some good wings.
Losing the legs every time. The world is more accessible for people without legs than arms. Think of all the cool wheelchairs and electric chairs/scooters you could use. Plus, we aren’t too far off from having commercially viable exoskeletons anyway, so you could become a tester for those and be on the cutting edge of technological advancement.
True. I meant that after you meet a girl’s friends, they’re going to talk about you and give the girl their input. If they like you, then that’s just more people in your corner to further the relationship.
I think hating your now-ex after a break-up for a while is healthy. It lets you work through the feelings of loss to become a new man/woman on the other side, ready to give the next person a fair shake in a relationship. I also think its good to remain at least friendly with an ex, especially if yall have the same regular social circle.
He should utilize the calendar feature on his phone and set reminder for major holidays and birthdays of people important to him. Or just be that guy that forgets important dates
Got a legit duvet this past Christmas that is considerably heavier than the cheap ass comforter I had on there. The added weight has helped me sleep better and less tossing and turning. I didn’t know about weighted blankets before this though; gonna have to check them out.
I would like to ditto and reiterate this comment. Source: National Bank Examiner
The big banks, the ones invested in Zelle, have been brow beaten over and over umpteen times about their cyber security due to them having records of and relatively easy access to nearly all of a customer’s financial identity. Venmo is only going to spend enough on IT costs to make the app run smoothly for customers. And as always, use credit cards when making online purchases. That’s the bank’s money and they care about that way more than they care about your money
I’m gonna have to naysay your counterpoint. One of my college roommates (lived with two other dudes) got a dog. We said we would pitch in with taking the dog outside and such when he had a late class or work. Which is fine. But then it turned into us having our own non-dog dependent schedules and him getting pissy and shit when we didn’t change our schedules to let the dog out and the dog would go in his room. Getting a dog and all the responsibilities is hundo p on the owner. Roommates can help out if you get delayed or an unforeseen schedule change but I would never agree to that.

I was full on prepared to not like this take. But the way you’ve laid it out makes me want to try this out this summer.

Best way to get a girl to like you is to make her friends like you first
Rivaled only by the smell of a midday spring shower

Same. Then they gave us computers that can’t run more than two excel workbooks and a few PDFs.

I always say I’ve never bee to Vegas, but I have won $200 on the airport slots
Glaring omission here
The eventual lawsuit would cost her friend more than $3000 probably if she lost.

Sounds like a perfect time to plan a beach trip
You can say ass. We’re all adults here.
