I always felt this way, then remembered that the only reason I make what I do is because I live in the city. Small towns=small companies=smaller salaries. Sure the dollar goes further in small town America but they can’t match the $ and benefits of a Fortune 500
If you cant make at least a small impression on people you spend 40+ hours a week with, you need socialization lessons. Don’t be a coward, get to know people. They might end up being some of the best people you’ve ever met. I mean probably not, but maybe.
Local news is endlessly entertaining, everything is either a murder that happed uncomfortably close to your apt or a feel-good story. I wouldn’t put it on at home but definitely quality waiting room viewing. 24/7 news is just a rotation of talking heads beating subjects to death with network-approved biases.
The shamelessly admitting that you know nothing about stocks/markets etc is weird. It’s fun to trade stocks when you have the discretionary income but why not own it and commit some hours to an online finance course? Kind of weak sauce to do whatever your coach tells you to do with no input of your own
Love y’all, probably favorite site on the internet, but can we get more than 3 posts by 2:30? First one before 11? Should be minimum 8-10 a day. This site is read by people sitting at their desk refreshing all day trying to avoid work, give the people more content

Great take. It got super formulaic but there was absolutely no better genre to vibe to in warm weather. RIP in peace sexual healing
