I had other plans to get engaged(at the Renaissance Faire in WI) but she had to do some last minute stuff at her mom’s, so I booked a restaurant reservation and then we went downtown, I took her to the Bean, and got down on one knee. We just celebrated one year of marriage together.
Working Saturday…of course.
Sunday: Going to make a crockpot for the church Thanksgiving dinner, which is the only day I’m going to be able to see any of my family for Thanksgiving, as I’m working Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving: Work then Thanksgiving dinner with my wife. Going to crockpot a turkey breast and making my vegetarian wife vegetarian turk’y slickes.
I’m not taking your comments as that. But I tend to be opinionated about stuff I’m passionate about. I grew up listening to the Beatles and other 60s rock and roll(my mom was a hippie), and Till There Was You was my first dance song with my wife. I don’t mean to be a wet blanket. Seriously. When I first discovered deFries’ wedding announcement hate readings, I was laughing till my sides hurt.
Really? Saying “sup” to someone who’s a persona on the internet…is cheating?
Damn, people.
Are you in the actual city or the ‘burbs? Detroit is a cool city because I’m a car guy but no way in hell would I move to the city proper.

I did WFH for two years. Now that I’m in an office I’ll never do it again. I don’t miss feeling isolated.
love.
I wasn’t aware “sup”-ing on a website was an issue?
I like this Tyler guy.
I like both cities and have friends near both but MKE is closer to family.
Well it was spur of the moment but yeah.
Congrats?
I live Minneapolis. That said, if I had to live in a less expensive version of Chicago, it’d be Milwaukee.
Charlotte? I’ve heard the traffic is hella insane. If I’d move anywhere in NC, it’d be to Raleigh. I have friends there and they love it out there.
My wife and I got engaged at the bean.
I love Chicago, but the other drivers drive me insane. Every time I drive into the city(I live in Aurora) I wonder why people do this on purpose.
As a native Chicagoan, someday I’d LOVE to move somewhere where it isn’t friggin cold in the winter. I’d suggest Austin.
Also, Sup?
Sup?

it’s all good mate.
I’m not trying to be. I actually do enjoy this place. It’s a nice distraction during work, even if I don’t identify with everyone all the time.
