I just got around to reading this article but this perfectly sums up my thought process the whole time. Getting paid to do a hobby you love (i.e. turning it into a job) would surely take the fun out of it. But that is an entirely different beast than working in a field or profession you are passionate about. By that logic, no one with any experience in their field loves their job because of the fact that they have had the fun taken out of it by being forced to do it. I just can’t imagine that is the case.
Don’t forget attorneys. I showed up on a Monday where I didn’t have any clients coming in wearing khakis and a dress shirt and a partner gave me the death stare

We are all participating in mandatory fun activities. Funtivities!
Was any single one of these a complete, coherrent thought? I have no idea what I just read.

This is exactly what I needed to get me to the Friday finish line
