If you aren’t educated on hunting dogs a quick google search can tell you about the types of hunts and field trials that require an AKC registration for entry.
If you want your dog to be eligible for field trials and other similar competitions it has to be AKC registered. Thems the rules. You’re buying a working dog that can also end up being a great pet. Sometimes a great pet can end up being a good working dog, but it’s not as common. Go to the breeder and don’t feel bad. There’s a huge amount of reputable breeders for hunting dogs- there are bad people in every industry but breeding labs for skill is not the same as breeding chihuahuas for how cute they are.
So glad so many people commented this. Story wasn’t funny at all, and as someone who’s from MD I think I can speak for all of us when I say don’t come back. You’re lucky you didn’t run into the owner of that property.
I just found out that my coworker and I both might be getting our own interns and I’m so excited, I feel like I’m getting a pet. Can’t wait to teach them all the shit I wish I learned as an intern and then brag about how much better my intern is than the other. Also, obviously hype to ask for a raise because now I’ll be managing/supervising someone.
I think getting your boobs done has a sexual connotation that a lot of procedures don’t, so people react more strongly to it than other surgeries. If you really want it, think about it a lot, have for years, etc…just do it. Growing up I hated the bump in my nose, but learned to not fixate. But when I broke it in a car accident at age 24 and had to have it surgically repaired I asked them to make the aesthetic changes I wanted at the same time and don’t regret it at all. I worried I would feel shallow or icky or suddenly want 50 more things done, or people would notice and judge me. None of those things happened, people don’t even notice unless I tell them. But I don’t stress about my nose at all anymore, I feel like I’m supposed to have been this way my whole life. So if you think that could be the outcome for you then it could be worth it!
I feel this. It took me a bit to get into posting Instagram stories and therefore an embarrassingly long time to realize that people could tell when I watched theirs. Even people I don’t follow. Oops.
23 year old virgin- I’m a girl, so slightly different scenario, but I lost mine at 23. Wasn’t saving it, just never ended up happening for various reasons, but long story short it wasn’t a huge deal. I went on a couple of dates with a dude and when we started to hook up I told him the deal and he was very cool about it. We slept together on date 3 and it wasn’t weird since we had talked first. We didn’t go out very many more times but no regrets, he made something that could have been awkward comfortable and fun. I wouldn’t keep it a secret but would advise only mentioning it if you think it’s about to be relevant. Definitely don’t try to keep it a secret, that will make you both uncomfortable for various reasons. Some people like feeling like they can teach you something, too. Good luck!
My favorite is when I am going to do something by myself, like eat lunch, and a coworker asks me why I didn’t invite them. Because I don’t want you to come?
Gift cards are awesome. As long as you tell me you have one and/or make a joke about it or can take me making a joke we are good. If I notice you paying with a gift card but trying to hide it like you’re embarrassed I won’t say anything but I will probably wonder if you’re struggling financially. Either way, a gift card is not making or breaking a date on its own.
