  • Captiosus 11 years ago on Whole Foods Employee Hilariously Blasts Company In Resignation Letter

After reading her entire diatribe, the very first thing that popped into my head was Despair.com’s original Dysfunction Demotivator: http://demotivators.despair.com/demotivational/dysfunctiondemotivator.jpg

Notice that she blasts every single supervisor and manager then concludes with a preemptive shot at all employees (and “anyone who visits the store”) who may disagree with her? This tells me that she would have ranted regardless of who the supervisors and managers were and she was simply looking for excuses to blast any of them for any little thing. Case in point: “Terrible music” as a complaint?

In six years, you’re always going to have managers you hate, processes that make no damn sense, corporate policies that are merely lip service to tout the company’s great “social responsibility” programs, and fellow employees/customers who grate on your last nerve. Well adjusted people realize these facts, soldier on, and try to fix the programs from within. Maladjusted people, well, they blow up, rant, and make blanket accusations.

This letter stinks of someone who grew up being constantly lauded as a “special snowflake” only to find out that, in the real world, there’s no such thing.
