Maybe it’s just because it’s the East Coast New England way but the Bean Boots, old Sperrys & Patagonia are a must; I definitely prefer a guy to have these things than not.
I might be one of the few but, I genuinely like the idea of the “engagement watch”- not as a mandatory this gift-for-that gift or tit-for-tat but as a way to mark that special moment in your lives together. It’s not about the hardware (however gorgeous it may be) it’s about the moment. Why not do something to represent how much of a 2 way street your marriage is going to be? Hope this doesn’t mean I have to calculate my ring fingers worth into herds of cattle for I wouldn’t begin to know where to do that…
