Going no-case is just a part of the bad-boy lifestyle. I’d highly recommend it–you know it just feels better without protection.
Years ago I was available for an upgrade from the 4s, so I removed the case as I figured nature would just run its course. Lasted about 2 years before cracking the screen. Upon upgrading, I went no-case again–I’d really recommend it. Just feels better.
They’re in a tough position. They bring on their part-time writers who bring good content (DeFries, Duda) who were pushing out (at most) a few (one or two) articles a week. All pretty high quality. Move em down to Austin, start doing it full time.
I’m making assumptions, but judging by the rate of these articles that are coming out they’re getting paid for articles, and likely clicks, comments. (Just guessing)
When that happens, you end up getting multiple articles a day, that are just essentially time-wasters. Duda posted this, and some article about expired waffles in a 5 minute span. You end up with more content, but it’s forced content about everyday life, reddit articles, and Jon Benet Ramsey documentaries.
It’s tough not to sound like a hater, it’s a tough position to be in. But I guess that’s what’s happening here.
You’ll get better odds, and quicker payouts using a real bookie. But they’re not available for everyone. I like Bovada bc it’s online, and also their living betting features. You can place a bet in seconds–more convenient in my opinion.
That being said I just put in a deposit at the start of the season, and withdraw at the end. Quicker payouts for sure with a real bookie.
How about two minute edits for Twitter? I think adding an anytime edit feature would not be great, but giving someone 90 seconds to a minute to fix an error could be clutch.
You’re not in B1G country anymore. You gotta start earlier than 3 hours. If you have an 8PM game and you start drinking at 5 that’s psychotic, especially on opening weekend. Just get after it youngblood.
Just got back from Europe and it blew my mind how much Europeans love KFC. Thought it was slowly dying in the states, but it is going strong across the pond.
The name of the game is content creation. These “stop” articles do get old, but really their goal is to get them spread online, if one of these resonates with people–they hope it gets shared. It does get old for regular readers–but I guess I can’t complain too much–I have adblock on. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
It doesn’t really sound like he gave it a shot at all. If you move to a new city, I think you’ve got to be open minded, try new things, and meet people of both sexes to expand your network (unless he’s just Grandex chilling the whole time.)
He went to a concert, knowing he wouldn’t like the music, or the outside weather. He was disappointed the people who invited him, didn’t invite enough single girls for him to talk with. The whole article was complaining about the weather, music, and that the invite didn’t have girls.
There’s no right answer, these things unfortunately happen. But if the game has already started, you can often times asking them to walk you up to the gate just to be safe.
You can also make a pretty easy argument that it’s more exciting than, say baseball. The average MLB game is 176 minutes long. With a stop between the action literally every pitch.
People constantly bitch about soccer, but they more than likely don’t give it a fair shot. The pace and flow of a game (even a low scoring game) is often times more exciting to watch than other sports. The point of this article was talking about the environment of watching it in a bar–which is really second to none.
The calling the hotel tip is so crucial. You should never, ever book a hotel online. Worst case scenario–you can always get the online rate. But hotels have a lot of flexibility when it comes to booking rooms in advance. Always give them a call, you can save hundreds just by chatting with the booking person/manager–especially if it’s a few wweks/months in advance.
When I started working at my longtime favorite bar in college, I was definitely surprised how often the illicit substances make appearances. It’s pretty subtle in many cases, but it seems like each bar has at least a few ready to shred the mountains each weekend.
Got murked by BYU in lacrosse as well. They’re all full grown, and in my experience, they’re just mean. You’d think the Mormans would be nicer–their defenders were psychopaths.
Not jumping on the NYC is overrated bandwagon, but will jump in about Atlanta. Sandy Springs is the burbs, the Olympic area/Aquarium (and downtown in general) are just tourist areas no one lives in. Buckhead is fun right out of college, but it’s just the ritzy part of Atlanta–not much character.
Your reasons for not liking Atlanta are similar to him not liking NYC.
Quick sales pitch on Atlanta: largest city in South, major sports, multiple boroughs (Midtown, Virginia Highlands, Edgewood, Little 5, Buckhead) that are all very unique and have their own character. Insanely low cost of living compared to any other major city, great weather, great Airport.

I wish they would roll back out the daily local “City” snapstory. Not a huge story guy, but I did like checking the city story at the end of the day.

Moscow Mules for days. Perfect Summer drink.

The fact that he goes to FSU is perfect.

The “remember Brian” comments were so annoying, but did they ever comment on what happened with that? Quit/Force out?

Shooters shoot.
