It’s not, but you learn to deal with it. I’ve accepted the fact that 90% of the time, I can eat anything I want because I’m either at home or at work for extended periods of time. It’s the other 10% that I worry about, but it is what it is. On the bright side, taking 4 shits a day at work means turning an 8 hour workday into a 7 hour one.
Kind of. I’m scared of flying, but that’s another story. As I’ve grown older, I’ve learned how my body reacts to different foods and now know what not to eat if I may be without a decent bathroom for a large chunk of time
You have my utmost sympathy. My stomach sucks too (although luckily I don’t have IBS or Crohns) and I always have to think twice about what I’m eating if I know I’m going to be somewhere with questionable bathroom access. It’s a shitty situation. Pun intended.
Seriously. If Russia or China want to invade the US, all they have to do is give it another 15-20 years until the current military turns over and all we have left is these snowflakes.
This doesn’t just apply to cities from which people move away. I grew up in San Francisco and know a bunch of kids from my high school that are bank tellers.
I’m not advocating that they get a pay cut or a demotion. All I’m saying is they’re taking time off work to be with their newborn child, which is absolutely necessary and commendable. But business and business and while they are not working, others are working and picking up the work that they are not doing. So by definition, they are no longer on even ground with others because of this missed time. So it shouldn’t be surprising that their earnings potential is lower as a result.
Not when stuff moves forward in the company but you don’t because you’re on leave. It’s also unfair to all those that don’t leave and stay there and work.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but you two are likely not getting back together. Long distance relationships suck and it’s hard to stay committed for both people.
With that said, your ex is a bitch for telling you that she wants a “six month break” and not having the balls to just permanently break up with you once and for all. Expect that “six month break” to turn permanent.

Yeah no kidding. Thanks for letting my joke go way over your heads.

I’m flying out of SFO on the 28th…maybe I’ll check this out before heading over to the Centurion lounge for the real anxiety relief – aka, alcohol.
Ever consider having a different set of clothes at your desk to change into when you get into the office?
What are you talking about? Duda doesn’t wrap it.
I’m not a hipster so no thanks.
True. But with all the amazing opportunities here, I feel like your life is even more sad if you’re still a bank teller.

Yeah but have you ever bought kosher meat? That shit’s 3x more expensive than regular meat.
Met my girlfriend on Tinder.

3 months per kid times 2-4 kids.
Here’s an idea: don’t expect to take 6-12 months off work and then come back and pick up right where you left off. That’s not equality.
