The site I linked to, Need Supply, almost always has 10-15% off coupons floating around too. Keep in mind, you still have to treat them well, take care of them, and try not to completely thrash them, but if you do those things, they’ll hold up really well. Lastly, if there are seasonal colors you like, pay attention around November and December, because those can be had during sale season for sure.
Yes, flying already sucks, so don’t make it worse for everybody else by making us see your gross toenails and brushing up against your hairy thighs. Other reasons to look DECENT while traveling:
– Better chance of upgrades, free drinks, extra snacks, etc. if you look put together.
– You never know when a hottie is finally going to be sitting in the seat next to you.
– What if you’re having a beer pre-flight and meet a great business connection at the bar?
Ssense and Barneys are my go-to, especially during sale season. Free shipping, free returns, and no tax to Texas. I also look around a lot on Saks, Notre, East Dane, Matches, Mr. Porter, Trés Bien, and End for the mid-to-higher end stuff. Definitely still shop J.Crew as well. The Stanton short is my all-time favorite chino short and can’t beat the price for casual button ups. I also occasionally find some stuff at Asos, H&M, Zara, or Topman inside Nordstrom. And before somebody comments, yes I shop a lot, but this stuff is my job, my passion, and my hobby so.. we all have our vices, haha.
Yes, it just takes a little patience to find the good stuff. I shop the following on a regular basis: H&M, Asos, Zara, Uniqlo, Gap, J.Crew, Banana Republic, and Bonobos. The latter four brands are pretty much never not running a sale, so you can get almost anything you like for 20-40% off. By the way, I Touch Base on this very question on today’s pod, and I’m going to write/post more about the affordable brands that I wear on a regular basis.
TiredGuy nailed it. Bonobos new athletic fit is exactly where I would have pointed you as well. Y’all do have the toughest build to buy off the rack for, so biting the bullet and shelling out for a tailor more often is definitely recommended.
Yeah, I choose pretty slim stuff, and I even get a lot of things tapered from the knee down to avoid extra fabric around the ankles. If you’re interested in trying something similar, I’d probably suggest this — buy two pairs of these (one true to size, one a size up from your regular size): http://www.hm.com/us/product/49036?article=49036-I#article=49036-I Go for the dark blue and the grey-beige. That way, you’re only investing $40 to see if you like a silhouette this slim. This kind of twill jean-pant hybrid should fit pretty seamlessly in to any style though, and here’s a slim fit if the skinny is just too aggressive for you: http://www.hm.com/us/product/48455?article=48455-J#article=48455-C
Brian with the Bachelor Party: I’ve been on many bachelor parties like the one you’re describing. It will be a ton of fun. If you’re looking for some adult entertainment, simply hit up backpages.com and you are guaranteed to find some friendly ladies willing to come put on a show for y’all. Just make sure everybody comes with a stack of ones.
I don’t find it the least bit controversial, nor do I think it was meant to be.
The Young Pope is a conservative extremist which scares the intra-political backbone of the Vatican controlled by the Secretary of State, Cardinal Voiello. The A storyline, thus far, is pretty simply about Lenny/Pope Pius XIII trying to seize the power that has belonged to the network of Cardinal-politicians for a very long time. The B storyline is Lenny’s background, relationship with Sister Mary, and how his upbringing led him to become such an isolated, fire-and-brimstone zealot.
That being said, it does not surprise me that this show isn’t everybody’s cup of tea. Since it’s called a “limited series” and stars acclaimed movie-stars, I do not expect a Season 2.
Haha, old timey barber’s chair inside the groomsmen room at a wedding venue.

It’s not about impressing anybody really, it’s just about looking respectable and not like you just crawled off the couch.
If you mean sit at the bar while getting dinner and enjoying the scene, I’d suggest June’s or Launderette.

Would bet a hundo that’s a Guinness.
Great column. How can anyone be expected to NOT do rap hands when “Mask Off” comes on?
Volcano is awful these days. Dead as a doornail.
Red Door was a perfect finale for a Houston DBC. Miss it, and I don’t even live there.

5’8″ is barefoot, so yes, with shoes and a good stretch, I’m practically 6′ tall.

Yes, they do.
I vouch for the 3/4 leggings under gym shorts. Keeps legs warmer and looks tight.

The only one I’ve watched so far is the pig-fucking one. Will continue to plow through though.

Well now I’m gonna be analyzing, “Barrett seems alright” for the rest of the day. What does he mean? What does he mean?!??
