I don’t know man, why do people buy anything expensive or frivolous? Because they like it? Because it’s fun to have nice things? Because higher-priced goods are usually better than their less expensive counterparts? I never understand this train of thought.
I just want to clarify: This is a $100 flannel that is literally cut to your exact measurements and specifications. Made-to-measure at that price is low.
If you’re not all that interested in clothing, then I can see why the two tees I linked to are just “plain-ass t-shirts.” Of course you can grab some $7 tees from Target or Wal-Mart, and if they work you, that’s awesome; but these are suggestions for guys that are looking for a little something extra, whether that be a better cut, a nicer fabric, a different weight, or more durability.
That’s a cool thing about suits though. A cheaper suit tailored perfectly will look better than a super expensive one worn off the rack. I promise you people notice when a suit or tux fits a guy precisely.
The concept is really cool, but if you enjoy mixing up your look at all, it’s not for you. I think it’s best put in to practice as a uniform, really, so that even with your multiple garments, it’s the exact same every single day right down to the colors. Think Steve Jobs.
I’m not a huge fan of the white Stripers because they’re a little too boat-y IMO. Like, if you’re a crew member or captain on a yacht, you get the white ones. The salt-washed neutrals and navies are still a good look though for weekend-wear.
This is one of the main reasons I don’t do white sneakers very often and have an especially hard time with ones that are solid white. The washing machine trick does work well for the performance stuff like UltraBoosts and Flyknits though.
That’s all Ross Bolen territory.
YES, working hard to make that happen soon.
Duda has an open invitation. Next time he’s in Austin, I’ll get him on for sure. Gotta give the people what they want.

Astonishing stuff, really.

Do you mean like a capsule wardrobe? 10-15 pieces that you just mix, match, and rotate through?
I can. I just did.
Probably would’ve included the Killshots here, but J.Crew is sold out right now!
There is a very wide range listed up there so you must want to punch a lot of dudes.
Lol, those are mine.

Yep, they’re a must, especially for the midsoles.
How’s the comfort on them?

Solid choice as well.
Hope you went with the classic “Worker Brown” and not some fufu fashionisto color like “Olive.”
