Oh yea, definitely has to be the last stop if the date is going well and you are trying to keep it going. A Thursday night surrounded by Christmas lights to end the date sounds pretty good to me though.
Mcgillans is a perfect end of date bar because you can bring her to the oldest bar in the city. Especially at Christmas because the decorations are great!
Aboslutely fixable! You just need to tell her everything you wrote here. You learn alot about how you feel when you get a glimpse of a break up. My boyfriend and I broke up after 4 months because we weren’t sure we liked each other enough to be exclusive (delete dating apps, say we had a bf/gf). It took about a month until we realized it was worth giving a real relationship a chance. After that we have been great- its much easier knowing how the other person feels without the games.
This is exactly what happened with me. I went years going on terrible dates and trying to put myself out there without trying too hard. It’s so hard for some people to understand being single in their late 20’s when they met their husbands in college or shortly after.
Keep us posted! I was more aggresive in the beginning with my now boyfriend because I wasn’t sure if I liked him or not but was interested enough to find out. After a couple of casual dates we realized that we were more compatible than we both thought.
I guess you’re being a good friend by saying you just want him to be happy but this is not a good situation. I’m glad you’re letting it all out to internet strangers and not to him if you’ve already expressed your concern to him.
I was just in the exact situation a few weeks ago. I had already met his sister and brother in law and their kids but not the parents, it went great but I was still really nervous. She sounds like a cool girl and like you said if she makes you happy that’s all they’ll want to see. Good luck to Lila!
You always need to know when to bring the significant other and when not to. If everyone is leaving their husbands/boyfriends at home so am I. Also, what girl doesn’t get the hint that if youre not bringing your girlfriend she shouldn’t go either?

So happy to hear this!
you definitely punched the person that was snapping you while you were just trying to sleep.

I get nervous sometimes when he doesn’t end in “lol”
I don’t know what groomsmen would be ok with this unless every bridesmaid was single.

wanted to say the exact same thing but didn’t want to make her scaries worse.
Please update how your night went.
I spell this wrong every single time.

“Can I refill your eggnog for you? Get you something to eat? Drive you out to the middle of nowhere and leave you for dead?”
