Coming from a data analyst’s perspective, there are two important things that need to be emphasized in this study. First, the sample size was very small (only 11 people participated). This makes it very hard to prove a difference is statistically significant. Second, the graph is deceptive in showing the relative difference in post-workout recovery. Notice how the scale on the y-axis starts at 40 instead of 0. Doing this makes the values appear to be further apart than they actually are in the grand scheme of things.
I know this seems counter intuitive, but I was actually able to get a billing issue resolved with TWC through the instant messenger on their website in less than 15 minutes while at work a few months ago. It was even escalated to a manager. Probably a fluke.
Not sure if he has made any trades recently to obtain that roster, but his team is absolutely stacked. I’d guess he has been screwed by match-ups all season and might be again if the teams do decide to sit all of their players. That’s a risk you take in head-to-head leagues, though.
The article does not make this clear, but the study found that those who attended both an elite undergraduate school and an elite graduate school earned more, on average, than those who attended a “non-elite” undergraduate school and an elite graduate school. I don’t find this entirely surprising.
I need to put a name for this in the meeting minutes.
This article was gold.

I’m pretty sure it is.

Not sure if I feel better because of watching this video, or because it’s Friday and I don’t have to go to work tomorrow.

For some reason I now have an extreme urge to listen to blink-182.
