Sign me up! I have Comcast and pay for HBO, but they’re the only company that doesn’t allow you to use HBOGo. So anything that takes a hit at cable companies, sign me up.
I hate admitting that I watch Dr. Phil, but he had a 75 yr old on the other day who got so fed up with Comcast she went into their local store and took a hammer to their phone. She’s pretty much my hero.
No, I don’t think I am, at all. But that’s the problem. The 12 yr old girls I’ve met in eating disorder treatment who hate themselves and their bodies. It’s heartbreaking and it’s not getting better, it’s getting worse. It’s starting younger and younger.
Not to mention the fact that eating disorders kill more people than any other mental illness.
The problem isn’t about saying fat is healthy. The problem is the obsession with skinny when that’s also not healthy. Extremes are never good. But the messages we’re sending girls about their bodies is killing them.
I say this as someone with an eating disorder. Only 5% of women can achieve the stereotypical “perfect” body naturally without using disordered eating or an eating disorder. 5 %. I don’t have the answer for all the body image problems in our society. But I can’t not speak up.
Fabulous use of tax payer money.

Because breast feeding until your kid is 3 and can ask for your tit is a proven method that works far better than any vaccine!
